Using the Phone



Sending a Text Message

To create a text message:

1. On the Phone screen, select a contact name that you want to send a message to.

Tap Menu > Send Text Message.

3. Compose your message.

z The auto-correct feature automatically fixes common spelling errors as you type so

your messages are more accurate.

z The character counter lets you see and control the size of the message as you

compose.

z If you want to know if your text message was received, tap Menu > Message

Options, then select the Request SMS text message delivery notification check

box.
