2.6 Power

All devices on the p2Engine require 3.3 V, ±5 % with the exception of the MPC5200

core which requires 1.5 V, ±5 %, which is generated by an onboard DC/DC converter.

3 Interfacing with the p2Engine

3.1 Mechanical interface

The p2Engine measures 2.35 inches by 2.90 inches. The board thickness is approximately

0.062 inches, the maximum component height on the top side is approximately 2.7 mm,

and the maximum component height on the bottom side is approximately 2.1 mm. The

p2Engine has one connector, located on the bottom side, for both power and signals. The

Molex 52760-2009, 2x100 pos, 0.025 inch (0.635 mm)

pitch receptacle is used on the p2Engine. For a stacking height of 5 mm, use Molex

53475-2000. For a stacking height of 6 mm, use Molex 53467-2000. For a stacking

height of 7 mm, use Molex 53481-2007. Three mounting holes suitable for M3 pan-head

screws are provided.
