1. Depending on the units of measure programmed, place 25 lb or 11 kg on the scale. Ideally these weights
should be grouped in the center of the scale (Figure 4-1).

a. Place 25 lb weights on the scanner as shown in Figure 4-2; three 5 lb weights centered on the center
of the scale, and two 5 lb weights centered on top.
